I really hated the beginning. So much so that for a while there I thought I hated the entire book. Without the beginning the rest of the story wouldn't have made too much sense. It wouldn't have worked as well at least. But how was I to know that? (I maybe could have guessed.) (I just got so frustrated.) But the love story was cute. I didn't find the book very funny though. For some reason I had expected to. Maybe also because I felt that this story at times reminded me a lot of Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic novels; This being quite inferior to those, which of course didn't work very much in its favour. Overall I wasn't a huge fan of Cabots writing style. BUT the love story took it all the way home in the end. So I'm going to see what happens with the two of them when they head of to NY.
